Personality test? Not my cup of tea

There’s a new english teacher for us since our beloved Ms Henley is out for her maternity leave. She gave birth to a cute baby on the 20th of December 2012. When Mr Ricketts carried their baby in to class the other day, the scene was really cute as Mr Ricketts is a very tall man and he is known for a strict man. Seeing him carry a small baby is just adorable. Can’t wait to see Ms Henley come back with her baby in 2 months.

Anyways, back to the topic. The new English teacher made us do personality test, and then connecting it back to the topic we are currently working on – Medea. The main character Medea was sadly divorced by her husband and is left with two of her children. The whole ‘play’ shows how she later found revenge and manipulate people around her. It’s basically how a woman back in the days live, i suppose. If you are unwanted by your husband, you’re life is practically over with. All you have to do to survive is to manipulate everyone.

I don’t think of ” reserved about expressing their feelings’ as of a weakness though. Well, It depends on culture. In asia, expression of feelings is frowned upon as it will disturb other’s life. And seriously, “Extreme dislike of conflict and criticism’? Everyone avoids them as much as possible.
