Gear up for a sunset unlike any other as some of the biggest bands and artists around the region, including leading acts from China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Taiwan, play at this thoroughly entertaining musical fiesta.
This year, Sundown Festival offers one of their strongest line-ups yet, with 10 artistes from 8 different Asian countries and musical genres that will be making appearances at the show.
Fans, get ready to head-bang to Nidji, No More Tear and Rock Steddy and Rico Blanco. Continuing on the ride on the surge in popularity and demand for the Japanese glam-metal rock and “visual style” of music, visual kei bands Screw and D=OUT are set to thrill festival goers.
K-pop fans can expect some eye candy and sugar rush in the form of Ace of Angels (AOA) a five-member female band and seven-member idol group.
Finally, this line-up of musical entertainment will not be complete without injection of the vocal prowess of Adonia Shao Yu Han from the People’s Republic of China as well as familiar names the likes of Taiwanese boy wonder Yoga Lin and Mandopop star Bosco Wong.
Organised by Red Spade Entertainment, Sundown Festival started in 2009 as an annual celebration of Asian musicianship — a first of its kind in Singapore.
